QRIS Humanitarian Donations at Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut Indonesia Collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross to Raise Humanitarian Donations

 

Jakarta/ 22 January 2024. Pizza Hut Indonesia is the first local restaurant to collaborate with the Indonesian Red Cross to collect humanitarian donations from the Indonesian people, through the QRIS code which is available at all Pizza Hut restaurants, Pizza Hut Ristorante and PHD outlets throughout Indonesia.

 

The launch of the QRIS code for humanitarian donations was carried out symbolically by Mr. H.M Jusuf Kalla as General Chair of the Indonesian Red Cross at the PMI Office, Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, on Monday (22/1/2024).

 

In his speech, Mr H.M. Jusuf Kalla, expressed his gratitude to Pizza Hut Indonesia for contributing, growing and standing with the Indonesian people with the support of providing Humanitarian Donation QRIS codes at all its outlets in Indonesia. The collected humanitarian donations will be managed and distributed entirely by PMI for humanitarian assistance.

 

“PMI works for people who are experiencing difficulties. With the existence of an electronic system with QRIS supported by Bank Mandiri and Pizza HUT's commitment to donate by placing QRIS in its various outlets, making all transactions faster, including donations to people in need. Large companies must set a good example, such as Pizza HUT and Bank Mandiri which collaborate with PMI or other organizations by not forgetting disabilities, gender equality and inclusion. "Thank you to Pizza HUT for distributing its assistance through PMI"

On the same occasion, the Director of Pizza Hut Indonesia, Mr. Boy Lukito, also said that this program is a CSR activity from Pizza Hut Indonesia as a concrete form of helping others, by providing facilities for everyone, both employees and Pizza Hut consumers, to be able to make humanitarian donations. more easily through QRIS which is available at our restaurants in 36 provinces, 150 cities/districts, more than 600 outlets, so that all people from all over Indonesia can now make donations more easily.

 

The launch of QRIS Donation PMI is also in line with the Pizza Hut Indonesia brand campaign "Sharing Together at Pizza Hut" which has been embedded in the minds of our consumers for years. With this collaboration, Pizza Hut Indonesia not only provides food for its consumers, but also provides opportunities for them to contribute to "Sharing Together" through humanitarian donations.

This CSR program with PMI is part of Pizza Hut Indonesia's CSR transformation, namely "Pizza Hut Cares 8P". Where Pizza Hut Indonesia is committed to taking action to care for: MSME Farmers, Women, People with Disabilities, PMI, Management of Food Waste & Packaging Boxes, Orphanages, Energy Saving & Switching to Renewable Energy and Alleviating Stunting. With the hope that together, Pizza Hut Indonesia can make positive changes for Indonesian society.

 

Then, Mrs. Lusiana as Area Head of Bank Mandiri Jakarta Plaza Mandiri also expressed her gratitude for involving Bank Mandiri in humanitarian activities initiated by Pizza Hut Indonesia and the Indonesian Red Cross.
He hopes that this program will continue and be carried out by other parties. So that donations through PMI become more easily accessible to the community as a whole, namely through QRIS which can be accessed only via cellphone. (end)
